This is your chance to step into the spotlight and showcase your original music in a professional curated setting in an intimate award winning venue.
Rising Stars is an Emerging Artist Showcase hosted by West Pier Recordings in association with Artista, one of Brighton’s top venues for Music and Comedy with seating for approx. 100 people and more standing.
Rising Stars Emerging Artist Showcase is here to spotlight the most exciting musical talent from Brighton, Sussex, and beyond. Whether you're making waves with your live shows and building a growing audience, or you're just stepping onto the scene with standout original music that’s ready to be heard and that delivers, this night is designed for you. We’re looking for emerging artists with something special... music that connects, a sense of identity, and the drive to take things further. This is a unique opportunity to perform in a respected, intimate venue with an engaged audience, real industry presence, and the chance to be part of a growing creative network. Most genres are welcome - what matters most is quality and originality.

The first two events will be completely FREE to attend! Expect an evening of exceptional live music in a proper venue, featuring mini 15 minute sets from 3 emerging artists handpicked for their awesome talent, plus a special guest performer delivering a 30-45-minute headline set.
The whole show will last approximately 2 hours with breaks.
Our special guest artists are already making waves on the scene and bring real quality to the stage - so whether you’re discovering fresh talent or just out for a brilliant night of live music, your entertainment is guaranteed. This is a showcase of pure talent. Come and enjoy the music, support future stars, and be part of something special from the very beginning. Support music artists, live music and live music venues.

Artist registration
Email showcase@westpierrecordings.com with a link(s) to your videos as well as artist socials and of course some words telling us about yourself.
Please note that this is a curated Emerging Artist Showcase, and we will only be selecting the best suited talent.
We also want to hear from Artist managers and producers.
If you are not chosen, please don’t be discouraged - we appreciate all applications. If you’re new to the scene and looking for opportunities, we’d be happy to recommend other great venues in Brighton to help you get established if you have not already sussed that out.
If you want to apply to perform at our Emerging Artist Showcase, you will need to register as early as you can. If you have any questions, just reach out.
artist Requirements
Bring yourselves, your kit, everything you would normally need to set up. You can then connect to the venue PA.
Bands with larger set ups will arrive by 7pm.

The bar is located on the ground floor, while the music venue is situated in the basement.
Please note that access to the basement is via stairs, and there is no lift available. There is seating on both floors.
