Join Rising Stars to make your mark, enjoy the music, and create genuine connections. Rising Stars Showcase is not an open mic night, it's a curated showcase! the best of the best! From time to time, we will also be featuring special guests locally and from further afield.
The Next Event Is On Thursday 21st August 2025 (7-10PM) - DJ and Band Night - (Brand New Exciting Format)
Then on 16th October and 18th December 2025.
Special Guest TBC + The Amazing Joe Little / Lewis Monticelli / King Tear and DJ to top it off! 3 hours of non stop fun!
We have moved venue to: ALPHABET, known as Brighton's finest hidden gem.

Expect an evening of exceptional live music in a purpose built music venue with flair and style and the best audio around!
ALPHABET is an audio led Hi-Fi Pub open from 4pm till late. The Rising Stars Showcase starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm.
Enjoy the bar on the ground floor, the music room on the middle floor and the terrace on the top floor.

Ticket cost starts from £7 dependent on format and acts booked plus a small booking fee.

Some of our emerging artists are already making waves on the scene and bring real quality to the stage - so whether you’re discovering fresh talent or just out for a brilliant night of live music, your entertainment is guaranteed. This is a showcase of pure talent. Come and enjoy the music, support future stars, and be part of something special from the very beginning.

Artist registration
Email showcase@westpierrecordings.com with a link(s) to your videos as well as artist socials and of course some words telling us about yourself, your journey so far as well as your future goals.
Artists, please note that this is a curated Emerging Artist Showcase, not an open mic night.
We will only be selecting the best suited talent that co-aligns with the ethos and direction of the Rising Stars Sessions.
We also want to hear from Artist managers and producers.
If you are not chosen, please don’t be discouraged - we appreciate all applications, it's just not right for this event.
If you’re new to the scene and looking for opportunities, we’d be happy to recommend other great venues / open mics in Brighton to help you get established if you have not already sussed that out.
If you want to apply to perform at the Rising Stars Sessions, you will need to register as early as you can. If you have any questions, just reach out.
artist Requirements
Bring yourselves, your kit, everything you would normally need to set up. You can then connect to the venue PA.
Bands with larger set ups will arrive from 4pm. We will discuss tech specs and procedure in advance. :-)
