In July 2025 we introduced a bold new format at A L P H A B E T, marking the start of an exciting new chapter. We’re now developing the next stage of our live show series and will be sharing more exciting announcements in the coming months.
Rising Stars is an artist showcase platform designed to give emerging talent (not specifically record label artists) a powerful launchpad.
This isn’t an open mic, this is not just any gig, it’s a professional live event with purpose, energy, and follow-through in an exceptional venue.
Each artist we feature benefits from high-quality video and audio recordings of their performance, perfect for marketing, social media, and industry outreach. We also provide extensive promotion across Brighton and surrounding towns, helping artists grow their audience locally and to amplify their visibility where it counts.
Rising Stars Artist Showcase runs approximately every 2 - 3 months, with carefully selected lineups that highlight super talented breakout bands and at times will open with an intimate acoustic / vocal set spotlighting the freshest new talent, only as we discover it, otherwise its all about bands.

West Pier Recordings sources talented artists/bands who will pay at our showcase gigs, If you are an artist and feel you have the magic required to be at our showcase, please email showcase@westpierrecordings.com with an EPK or link(s) to your videos as well as artist socials and of course some words telling us about yourself and your creative journey so far. We must emphasise that these are exclusive events and we are booking in upcoming and established artists that are already making ripples and indeed waves in the scene locally or nationally and that are gigging / touring to support their current/future single release campaigns.
We also want to hear from bookers, artist managers and producers that would like to work with the West Pier Artist Showcase to promote their related artists.
