Important Notice
We have re-launched our entire live music division.
Rising Stars has now taken its final bow and from January 2026 onwards, West Pier Presents becomes the new home for all of our live music promotions.
West Pier Presents is a dedicated promoter identity bringing memorable live shows and established artists from Brighton and beyond. This marks an important next chapter for West Pier Recordings as we grow from supporting emerging artists into delivering professionally curated live events, while staying true to our values and community.
Our commitment to new and developing talent remains at the heart of everything we do. This continues through:
West Pier Presents.. 'Rising', a platform dedicated to showcasing exceptional grassroots artists, including standout performers from Brightons musical education establishments and Brighton’s wider music scene, exceptional talent early on in their music journey.
Alongside this, we are proud to be partnering with the mental health charity Mind to support their vital work within the music industry. Mental health is a major issue for artists, who often face intense pressure, financial uncertainty and demanding schedules in their efforts to build sustainable careers. Through this partnership, we aim to help raise awareness, promote healthier conversations and support a cause that is deeply important to us and to the artists we work with. As such all our 'Rising' events are 'not for profit', any profits after costs will be donated to Mind.
Later in the year, we will be launching West Pier Presents 'SELECT', the next step up from 'Rising'. This will be held at ALPHABET and will consist of more experienced talent and for those that are starting to breakthrough as well as special guests. Keep 19th June 2026 free! Works in progress!
Stay tuned via our Instagram page @westpierrecordings for further updates and gig dates for 2026.
Thank you,
Julian and MJ

Totally original and not to be missed! Their new direction is non comparable to their early releases on Spotify. You will be the first to see their new electronic act!
